Designed for 5.15 GHz to 5.35 GHz, EHF-4BE5250 provides 1:2 conversion in a 0603 (1608 metric) implementation. The 1:2 relationship connects the 50 Ω unbalanced / 100 Ω balanced ports without requiring a larger discrete matching network. Confirmed selection data includes insertion loss of 1.2 dB maximum, phase behavior of 180° ±15°.
The narrow 5 GHz allocation is suited to WLAN channels and other radios that need a 100 Ω differential interface in a very small footprint. The EHF ordering code fixes the frequency band, impedance ratio and package style, so other EHF family members should not be substituted solely on package similarity.
