Product Overview
T9-1+ is a 1:9 Mini-Circuits transformer covering 150 kHz to 200 MHz. The high transformation ratio is intended for applications that need a much larger impedance step than common 1:1, 1:2 or 1:4 baluns, while still converting between balanced and single-ended circuitry.
Its W38 surface-mount format is used in broadband matching networks, high-impedance differential stages and transformer-coupled amplifiers. Because a 1:9 ratio strongly affects voltage and current relationships, replacement parts must match the ratio and winding configuration rather than merely overlap the frequency range.
