Product Overview

ICM-20948 is a 9-axis MEMS MotionTracking sensor from TDK InvenSense, supplied in a compact 24-pin QFN surface-mount package.    The device integrates a 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis compass / magnetometer and an onboard Digital Motion Processor, making it suitable for motion sensing, orientation detection, activity tracking and embedded navigation applications.

With I2C and SPI digital output interfaces, ICM-20948 can be easily connected to MCUs, application processors and embedded control platforms.    Its small 3mm x 3mm x 1mm package helps reduce PCB space, while the integrated sensor architecture allows designers to implement compact motion tracking functions without using separate accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer devices.
