TCM1-1+

Product Overview

TCM1-1+ is a Mini-Circuits balanced-transmission-line core-and-wire RF transformer specified for 1.5 MHz to 500 MHz. The unity ratio preserves the nominal 50 Ω / 50 Ω relationship while providing isolation and conversion between single-ended and differential nodes. Confirmed selection limits include insertion loss of 3 dB maximum, return loss of 7.88 dB minimum, phase balance of 4°, amplitude balance of 0.2 dB maximum.

The usable range crosses IF, HF, VHF and much of the UHF spectrum, which suits broadband equipment that cannot be served by a narrow tuned balun. This ordering code uses the standard mechanical option for the family and should be laid out with short, symmetric balanced traces. Published absolute limits include RF power 0.25 W and DC current 30 mA. The installed result also requires the published land pattern and electrically symmetrical balanced connections.
