Product Overview

Designed for 1.5 MHz to 600 MHz, TC4-6TG2+ combines wideband transformer coupling with a defined 1:4 impedance relationship. The 1:4 ratio lets a conventional 50 Ω system interface drive or receive a differential port with the intended impedance transformation. Confirmed selection limits include insertion loss of 3 dB maximum, return loss of 9.91 dB minimum.

The usable range crosses IF, HF, VHF and much of the UHF spectrum, which suits broadband equipment that cannot be served by a narrow tuned balun. The G2 suffix identifies the AT224-3 package option used for automated surface-mount assembly. Published absolute limits include RF power 0.25 W and DC current 30 mA. The installed result also requires the published land pattern and electrically symmetrical balanced connections.
