Product Overview

TC4-6T+ targets broadband RF and IF interfaces from 1.5 MHz to 600 MHz, using a 1:4 transformer relationship rather than a narrow tuned network. The 1:4 ratio lets a conventional 50 Ω system interface drive or receive a differential port with the intended impedance transformation. Confirmed selection limits include insertion loss of 3 dB maximum, return loss of 9.91 dB minimum.

The usable range crosses IF, HF, VHF and much of the UHF spectrum, which suits broadband equipment that cannot be served by a narrow tuned balun. This ordering code uses the standard mechanical option for the family and should be laid out with short, symmetric balanced traces. Published absolute limits include RF power 0.25 W and DC current 30 mA. The installed result also requires the published land pattern and electrically symmetrical balanced connections.
