About Terminals

Terminals create secure electrical connections between wires, cables, circuit boards and equipment. This category covers ring, spade, blade, pin, quick-disconnect, wire-to-board, solder and crimp terminals in insulated and non-insulated versions. They are used in industrial controls, power distribution, appliances, automotive wiring, telecommunications equipment and electronic assemblies.

Select a terminal by matching the terminal style, wire gauge or conductor cross-section, insulation diameter and mating interface. Check rated current and voltage, conductor and plating materials, insulation type, mounting method and operating temperature. For crimp products, verify the specified strip length, compatible applicator or hand tool and required crimp profile. Housing compatibility, locking features and agency approvals may also be critical. Similar-looking terminals are not necessarily interchangeable, so compare the manufacturer drawing, series and complete part number before procurement.
