HHM1517A2 combines controlled single-ended-to-differential conversion with a verified operating range of 2.3 GHz to 2.5 GHz. The unity-ratio network preserves the nominal 50 Ω unbalanced / 50 Ω balanced relationship while converting between single-ended and balanced circuitry. Confirmed selection data includes insertion-loss performance of 1.2 dB maximum, return loss of 10 dB minimum, phase balance of 180° ±10°.
The device is intended for Broad 2.3-2.5 GHz WLAN, Bluetooth and cellular RF interfaces. Its compact footprint lets the balun sit close to the RFIC, reducing the additional phase error and mismatch introduced by long differential PCB traces.
