TC8-1X+

Product Overview

Designed for 2 MHz to 500 MHz, TC8-1X+ combines wideband transformer coupling with a defined 1:8 impedance relationship. The 1:8 ratio lets a conventional 50 Ω system interface drive or receive a differential port with the intended impedance transformation. The exact frequency range and impedance relationship are the primary confirmed selection parameters for this version.

The usable range crosses IF, HF, VHF and much of the UHF spectrum, which suits broadband equipment that cannot be served by a narrow tuned balun. The X-family suffix identifies a top-hat or flat-lead construction that should be matched to the approved PCB footprint. The installed result also requires the published land pattern and electrically symmetrical balanced connections.
