NCS1-63+

Product Overview

NCS1-63+ is a compact 1:1 LTCC balun optimized for the 4.9 GHz to 6.0 GHz microwave range. The device converts a 50 Ω single-ended RF path to a balanced pair while controlling amplitude and phase tracking, which is particularly important around differential mixer, transceiver and low-noise-amplifier ports.

Its 0805 footprint and 3 W rating allow the transformer to sit close to the RFIC, reducing the length of the balanced traces. The specified 0.3 dB amplitude unbalance and 5° phase unbalance support good common-mode rejection across the band, but layout symmetry and the recommended land pattern remain critical at these frequencies.
