Product Overview
The HMC-C053 from Analog Devices is a Absorptive voltage-variable attenuator module designed for controlled signal reduction in 50-ohm RF paths. It provides 30 dB up to 12 GHz across a documented DC to 20 GHz operating range. The Field-replaceable SMA connectors configuration allows the attenuator to be inserted directly between compatible coaxial interfaces without an additional adapter. The device is documented for applications including Automatic gain control, Microwave-radio gain compensation, Military radio, radar and ECM.
