Product Overview
Designed for 0.3 MHz to 475 MHz, TC9-1-75X+ combines wideband transformer coupling with a defined 1:9 (8 Ω balanced / 75 Ω unbalanced) impedance relationship. The 1:9 (8 Ω balanced / 75 Ω unbalanced) ratio lets a conventional 75 Ω system interface drive or receive a differential port with the intended impedance transformation. Confirmed selection limits include insertion loss of 3 dB maximum, return loss of 7.44 dB minimum.
The usable range crosses IF, HF, VHF and much of the UHF spectrum, which suits broadband equipment that cannot be served by a narrow tuned balun. The X-family suffix identifies a top-hat or flat-lead construction that should be matched to the approved PCB footprint. The installed result also requires the published land pattern and electrically symmetrical balanced connections.
