Product Overview
TC1.5-1X+ is a 1:1.5 impedance-transforming balun with an exceptionally wide 500 kHz to 2.2 GHz operating range. It is intended for circuits that need a moderate impedance step between a 50 Ω single-ended source and a balanced load, while also passing signals from low-frequency IF through microwave-band RF.
The part specifies 3 dB maximum insertion loss, 9.3 dB minimum return loss, 0.25 W RF power and 30 mA DC-current capability. Its AT1521 five-terminal top-hat package is suited to compact broadband boards, but the very wide range makes center-frequency performance curves important in gain-critical designs.
