TC1-42X+

Product Overview

TC1-42X+ provides the same 250 kHz to 400 MHz, 1:1 transformer function as the TC1-42 family in an AT1521 top-hat package. It handles balanced/unbalanced conversion and transformer isolation in 50 Ω signal chains without introducing a nominal impedance step.

The broad low-frequency response is useful in IF, test and communications hardware that must pass signals well below 1 MHz. The X suffix identifies a distinct mechanical implementation, so the pad arrangement and component height should be checked independently from the AT224-1 version. Keeping the balanced traces short and equal remains important near the upper end of the 400 MHz band.
