Product Overview
TC1.33-182X-75+ is a 75 Ω transformer with a 1:1.33 secondary-to-primary impedance ratio, operating from 5 MHz to 1.8 GHz. It combines balanced/unbalanced conversion with a modest impedance step, useful when a broadband 75 Ω coaxial path must feed a differential circuit whose optimum impedance is higher than the line impedance.
The range covers CATV return and forward-path frequencies, broadband tuner inputs and other 75 Ω distribution systems. Mini-Circuits supplies the part in the AT1521 top-hat package with configuration M1. The 1.33 ratio is central to the matching function, so a 1:1 75 Ω balun may fit physically yet still change signal level and port match.
