Product Overview
TC1-1TX+ is a 1:1 core-and-wire transformer covering 400 kHz to 500 MHz. Its low-frequency extension makes it useful in circuits that must pass IF or modulation content well below the range of many compact RF baluns, while still reaching through HF, VHF and lower-UHF operation.
Mini-Circuits references insertion-loss performance to a 0.35 dB typical mid-band loss. The AT1521 top-hat package distinguishes this model from the AT224-based variants even though their electrical bands may be similar. Since the ratio is unity, the component is chosen for transformer coupling, isolation and balanced/unbalanced conversion rather than intentional impedance scaling.
