Product Overview
TC1-1G2+ is a 1:1 core-and-wire transformer for 1.5 to 500 MHz in Mini-Circuits’ AT224-3 package. It provides transformer isolation and balanced/unbalanced conversion while maintaining a 50 Ω nominal impedance on both sides, covering HF, VHF and a portion of the lower-UHF spectrum.
The G2 ordering code identifies the AT224-3 mechanical platform and configuration C. This matters for production sourcing because the electrical range overlaps TC1-1+ and TC1-1X+, but the package height, lead form and land pattern are different. In an RF layout, the balanced pair should leave the transformer with equal geometry to avoid adding phase or amplitude error not present in the component data.
