Product Overview
TC1-182T-75X+ is a 75 Ω, 1:1 transmission-line transformer spanning 5 MHz to 1.8 GHz. The balanced secondary includes a center tap, allowing the component to feed differential stages that require a bias or RF-ground reference while the primary remains connected to a single-ended 75 Ω path.
Its bandwidth covers CATV, broadband video and tuner frequencies in one transformer. The device is rated for 0.25 W and uses the AT1521 top-hat package with configuration M1. Because the center-tap connection is part of the circuit function, a mechanically similar balun without that pin arrangement would not provide an equivalent biasing or grounding path.
