Product Overview

TC1-15+ is a 1:1 Mini-Circuits transformer specified from 350 MHz to 1.5 GHz. It provides balanced-to-unbalanced conversion in a 50 Ω system while keeping the nominal impedance unchanged, a useful arrangement for differential mixers, receiver amplifiers and transmitter driver stages operating through the UHF and lower L-band range.

Mini-Circuits references insertion loss to a 0.35 dB typical mid-band loss, helping the designer separate transformer loss from the ideal transfer relationship. This standard version uses the AT224-1A plastic base with solderable leads. Its footprint differs from the top-hat TC1-15X+, so the two parts share the electrical band but are not automatic mechanical substitutes.
