Product Overview
NCS2-83-1+ is a microwave 1:2 balun covering 3 GHz to 8 GHz in an 0805 LTCC package. It is designed for circuits where a conventional 50 Ω single-ended line must drive or receive a differential port with a 2:1 impedance relationship, while keeping insertion loss and phase error within stated limits.
A 1.9 dB maximum insertion-loss specification, 10 dB minimum return loss and 12° maximum phase unbalance give designers concrete limits for a multi-octave microwave signal chain. The 3 W power rating also permits use ahead of, or following, moderate-power gain stages when the board follows the recommended thermal and RF layout.
