Product Overview
NCS2-282+ is a wideband Mini-Circuits LTCC transformer that combines balanced/unbalanced conversion with a 1:2 impedance transformation. Its 625 MHz to 2.815 GHz passband covers several cellular, ISM and broadband radio allocations, allowing one compact component to bridge a 50 Ω single-ended network to a higher-impedance differential RF port.
The published 2.0 dB maximum insertion loss and 6° phase-unbalance figure make it possible to account for both gain loss and differential accuracy during front-end design. Because the component uses a six-pad 0805 package, the balanced outputs can be routed with short, matched traces directly into the RFIC.
