Product Overview
FTB-1-6A15+ is a connectorized Mini-Circuits core-and-wire transformer covering 10 kHz to 125 MHz. It provides a 1:1 transformation in a 50 Ω environment, so it can perform balanced-to-unbalanced conversion or provide transformer coupling without intentionally changing the nominal impedance.
Unlike board-level baluns, this version is supplied as a BNC-interfaced module. That makes it practical for laboratory fixtures, receiver test paths, low-frequency RF instrumentation and retrofit work where a cable-connected transformer is easier to integrate than an SMD component. Mechanical connector arrangement and grounding should be checked as carefully as the electrical passband.
